WMM Inc. | Logo Design

Project Description: Wisconsin Metalworking Machinery Inc was in need of a logo redesign. Their previous logo included a serif font of their name going on an angle downward. They felt this logo did not fit their branding and industry. 

When creating this logo I started with the color palette by finding a bold, strong, and loyal color to match the machinery industry. When researching I found that the machinery industry uses a lot of reds and yellows. When presenting this to Wisconsin Metalworking, they wanted to stay away from those colors. Instead we used a bold blue and black to help reinforce their loyalty to the industry. When designing the logo I took the gear and abstracted it to intertwine in itself. This symbolizes their connection with the industry as well as their customers. I then found a font to complement these ideas.
