Small Town Hope

Project Description: In this photo series, I used the distance of a porch to focus on the hope of people in the small town during the pandemic. When preparing for these photos, I asked these individuals to decorate a poster however they wanted. I was surprised to find hopeful thoughts and prayers even in such a dark time. I choose to show these photos in black and white to bring out the people emotion during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This photo series was featured in the 2020 University of Michigan-Flint student show, Times Herald and the Michigan Lions Club Magazine.
